Solutions for vertical riser cable

What is vertical riser cable ?

A vertical riser cable is a type of cable used in building cabling systems to connect floors or levels. It’s designed to meet fire safety standards for vertical applications, often having fire-resistant properties. These cables are typically used for data, voice, or video transmission between floors in a building. They’re an essential part of structured cabling infrastructure.

Advantages :

1. Fire safety: They’re designed to meet strict fire safety standards, reducing the risk of fire spreading through the building.

2. Reliability: These cables ensure stable and consistent data transmission between floors.

3. Flexibility: They can support various data transmission applications, such as Ethernet, fiber optics, or other communication protocols.

4. Efficient installation: Vertical riser cables simplify the installation process by providing a dedicated pathway for cables between floors.

5. Compliance: Using vertical riser cables helps ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Our experience

Solutions for vertical cabling are one of our main areas of activity.

Our company has participated in several large projects related to providing apartment buildings with data transmission services since 2003.

Vertical riser cable is the fastest and easiest solution to provide data transmission services to densely populated areas.

We offer several convenient and efficient solutions for riser cable installation.

Fiber optic distribution box FOS-16 devised for GPON technology optical fiber separating and provides access to each subscriber. It is cost effective solution especially for apartment houses.

FOS-16 provided for distributing up to four fibers from vertical riser cable.

This product is currently discontinued.

FOS-49 is optical distribution box provided for rising cable. Up to eight outgoing connections possible in this distribution box. There can be used drop tubes or preterminated patch cords. Splicing cassette and splice holders integrated in this enclosure. Input and output cables are fixed with cable strips. This box surely closed with hinged plastic cover. Optional adapter holder available.

This is one of the most price / performance effective solutions

Enclosure FOS-34 designed for FTTH solutions in apartment buildings, using “drop – cable”

This enclosure is smallest than FOS-49 and provided for up to 4 outgoing fiber patch cords. There are fixings for four splices and small cable loop inside

Thanks to advanced design, FOS-31 can be used for installing of riser cables in electrical distribution cabinets on DIN-rail or without cabinets.

It can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Various ways of fastening the throughgoing cables make it possible to create complex fiber optic networks in modern apartment houses or office buildings.

FOS-31, called a “cable box” provides fixation of throughgoing cables as well as connection of other modules, like splicing cassettes FOS-38 and some others expected products in the future
